About Me: I have been told that I am a great listener, compassionate friend, and humorous diva. Sometimes I just come up with these great one-liners.

I will be getting divorced in about 3 months (March 2010), but I am well-grounded and grateful for my many friends and family. I am primarily looking for friendship but am open to possibilities. Simply fun without the stereotypical DC attitude... Overall I am looking forward to the next stage of my life.

Besides interest in the arts and humanities, I greatly enjoy studying spirituality and philosophy - including interfaith dialogue, yoga meditations and transpersonal psychology. I am a big fan of Angel Therapy and the New Thought (Law of Attraction) movement. I also like reading and writing, as I hope to write a book or two someday.

I enjoy going out for lunch or dinner, browsing in bookstores, hanging out at pubs, visiting museums and walking along the Potomac (when it's not too cold :-P). I also enjoy quiet beaches and drives through Appalachia.
