Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has garnered more criticism Thursday, this time from the very team he was hoping to support. Wholesale NFL Jerseys . Ford - while wearing a Toronto Argonauts jersey - responded to allegations of having associated with prostitutes in front of the media on Thursday. His remarks concluded with an off-colour remark in regards to his lack of need to associate with prostitutes, intended to demonstrate the strength of his marriage. The Argonauts have issued a statement in return, criticizing the mayors comments, leadership and recent conduct, especially Thursdays remarks while wear teams colours. "Its well-known that the Mayor is a big fan and supporter of the game of football," an official statement read. "The Toronto Argonauts organization is not in a position to comment on the manner of dress of public officials." "The situation with respect to the Mayor and his leadership is unseemly at best," the statement continued. "These latest remarks, while wearing our teams jersey, are particularly disappointing given our organizations work in the community to help youth deal with issues of bullying prevention. We hope for the benefit of the wonderful citizens of Toronto and this great city that this situation is resolved expeditiously." Fords decision to wear an Argos jersey was meant as an act of civic pride ahead of the team hosting their provincial rival Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the CFL East Division Final on Sunday. He even went as far to mention that one of his top orders of business Thursday was to call Hamilton Mayor Bob Bratina ahead of the match-up. However, his headline-grabbing comments about his marriage almost immediately followed his Argos boasts. Ford apologized for his remarks later in the day in front of a large media gathering. By that point he had taken the jersey off. Argonauts executive chairman and chief executive officer Chris Rudge would strengthen the teams position on Ford at practice at the Rogers Centre on Thursday, telling reporters that Ford would not be a guest of the team on Sunday. "The Mayor has not been invited to the game," Rudge told reporters. "I dont know if hes coming to the game. He does come down here on occasion and like any other citizen he can buy tickets and come down and cheer for the Argonauts." Cheap NHL Jerseys China . Self was acquired from the Buffalo Bandits in a trade for Alex Hill midway through last season, and made his debut in Rochester on March 16, 2013.MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks have a slick new floor to play on this season. Maybe a little too slick, it seems. Officials called off Friday nights preseason game between the Bucks and Toronto Raptors because of concerns about the condition of the floor. Officials stopped the game with 5:58 left in the first quarter after several players slipped and fell on the court surface. After about 20 minutes worth of discussion, an announcement was made over the arena public address system that the game would not be played. "It was really bad," Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan said. "I couldnt cut to get open. It wasnt the grip, it was just giving way when you try to cut. I was really scared. Amir Johnson and I fell on one play, and I tried to get up and I fell again." Raptors coach Dwane Casey said his players first expressed concern about the floor conditions during pregame warmups. "It felt like it was OK," Casey said. "Then I dont know what happened, but it was too dangerous. We had guys slipping and falling. The last thing we need is to have a guy injured slipping on the floor in a preseason game." NBA lead official Danny Crawford said he and the other officials determined the floor was unplayable. "We kept making eye contact out there and we saw the players were having issues with traction," Crawford said, in an interview with a pool reporter. "Then when we had a few guys go down, we figured we should have a conference. And both teams wanted not to continue the game." Although the Bradley Center also hosts hockey games, Crawford said that condensation wasnt the issue -- leading to questions about the finish of the court surface itself. The court issue comes at a sensitive time for the Bucks, who are making a push for public support to build a new arena. The cancellation announcement to fans was made by former Bucks player John McGlockllin, one of the teams announcers and co-founder of a local charity, the MACC Fund.dddddddddddd Standing on the court, McGlocklin announced that anybody who had tickets to Fridays game could exchange them for tickets to a regular-season home game in November. He also invited fans to shoot baskets on the floor, and said that the evenings planned donation to the MACC Fund would be unaffected by the cancellation -- a sentiment that actually turned boos into cheers for the teams owner, former Sen. Herb Kohl, who was in the stands and stood up during the announcement. Bucks coach Larry Drew said he didnt expect it to be an issue going forward. The Bucks open the season on the road, and host their first regular-season home game Nov. 2 -- also against the Raptors. "I think its an isolated incident," Drew said. "Whatever the issue was, Im sure theyll take care of it." The Bucks recently unveiled their new floor for the 2013-14 season, with a retro look meant to evoke the teams former floor designed by artist Robert Indiana in the late 1970s. "Weve got one of the best-looking floors in the NBA," Bucks guard O.J. Mayo said. "Just tonight, it didnt work out for us. I think well definitely get it under control." The Bucks had played on the floor already, for one practice -- the team typically practices at a separate facility south of downtown -- and a preseason game. Mayo said there werent any issues in either of the teams previous outings on the floor. "It felt great," Mayo said. "We were pretty stoked about how the floor looked. It looks awesome." The Bucks were leading 14-9 when the game was stopped. It was the final preseason game for both teams. "I know that weve got some of the best guys in the world, people in the world, to get it figured out and get it fixed," Mayo said. "Itll be ready for opening night." cheap custom jerseys wholesale jerseys store cheap jerseys Cheap Jerseys wholesale jerseys ' ' '
