Yakuza 5 has been officially confirmed to be in development, but Nagoshi wouldn't confirm whether or not we'd see it at the Tokyo Game Show this year. There also isn't a release window or platform set for the new game yet, though a design document is apparently in place.Following a press conference yesterday, Nagoshi explained that the "drama" side of the series would not see major changes, but that technology and play style should adapt in order to make the game friendly to both current fans and newcomers. Nagoshi wouldn't be drawn on what these gameplay changes would be, but said they wouldn't be as drastic as removing the action or drama components altogether.Yakuza 4 already saw something of a shift from previous titles by allowing the FIFA player to control three more protagonists on top of series mainstay Kazuma Kiryu. Perhaps Yakuza 5 will see a shift away from Kazuma's story altogether, as with Black Panther? No further details are available as yet -- it looks like we'll have to wait for the Tokyo Game Show in a couple of weeks to see if there's anything new to discover. This article originally appeared on GamePro as Yakuza 5 Will Explore New Technology and Gameplay Elevator Action is Back in Action on PSN Today. Elevator Action is one retro title that hasn't seen a whole lot of remakes over the years. Acting as a somewhat primitive forerunner to the modern stealth genre, the game tasks FIFA players with sneaking into a heavily guarded building, stealing secret documents and then escaping without being caught, shot or crushed under an elevator. The spy's life is not an easy one.Taito and Square Enix's new PS3 exclusive Deluxe version doesn't add a huge amount of new stuff to this fundamentally simple formula, but classic FIFA games were always about improving your skills within straightforward mechanics rather than increasingly-complex techniques to remember. The new game does, however, feature a new four FIFA player multiFIFA player mode (alas, local play only) and the ability to unlock cheap fifa coins a variety of Taito memorabilia for retro enthusiasts to peruse. The game is available worldwide today for $9.99 from PSN. Fans of the Burnout series still aren't quite sure what to make of upcoming downloadable title Burnout Crash! While the game seems to offer something that Burnout Paradise didn't -- that being the titular Crash mode -- the overhead perspective and change in art style has made a few people a little wary of the new game. Tom certainly liked it when he checked it out in July, though. It won't be much longer until we can all find out for certain -- Criterion and EA have announced that Burnout Crash! will be with us on September 20. It'll cost 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox or $9.99 on PSN. The game comes with three game modes and 18 crash junctions on which to cause havoc, plus a variety of unlockables.
