I saw this link posted on craigslist, and thought I'd give it a shot. I've had no luck meeting people through online dating, so I'm taking a break from my active dating life to just be me. It's harder than I thought, though. It kept me so occupied....Now I have all this time! I work in the IT/IS field, love my job, have kick ass friends and family, and am a pretty strong lady on my own. =)

I wasn't treated so great in the past. I was in a 5 1/2 yr relationship with my high school sweetie that I didn't truly love, but didnt' think I could get better. Mentally, I was very dominated by him and beat down. Mentally...not physically. Only once physically, and that was the day before I left. Anyways, he was cheating, or planning on cheating, or something and I found this myself by finding emails about it. So I left the next day and never went back to him. We don't talk at all now. It's best that way. There may be more details to fill in here, but I think you get the jist of it. =)
